This packaging was created for Belk’s private brand Modern. Southern. Home. This is a new private brand for Belk, so staying consistent with existing packaging was very critical to the success of these labels.
I am particularly proud of these packages as I provided art direction to the Private Brand’s Creative Director, assisted with layout and production, retouched imagery and pre-pressed files for print. It was rewarding being involved from the beginning to end of this project.
With a limited budget and over 20 trees, sourced materials were limited to standard cardboard or matte white cardboard.
The icons were used in green and the icon shape was implemented into the small detail shots as well
This was a great omni-channel opportunity to inform customers of additional trees and sizes not found in Belk stores.
